Pokemon Go, which is all the rage these days, is currently only available in new Zealand, Australia and the United States. The game has captured the imagination of millions, and is on its way to become a phenomenon.

The unprecedented demand for the game actually caught developer Niantic by surprise, and they had to pause Pokemon Go's global rollout due to server overcapacity.

Thus, at the moment, the only way to play the game here in India and in other countries is to sideload the APK file. This is a risky move, as reports have emerged of Pokemon Go's APKs laced with malware.

All this might change soon though, as according to the Wall Street Journal, "people familiar with plans for the game said it would likely be available in other regions, including Europe, Japan, and other Asian nations within a few days.".

This indicates that the game might be released in India soon. However, one should also be a little skeptical, as Nintendo has had a history of ignoring the Indian market, with previous efforts such as Mitomo not being launched here at all.
